I am located in central WI and do a little custom harvesting as well as my own. It has been becoming normal to chase a bear or 2 out of the corn when harvesting. Sometimes run across a den in the field.............thats always a treat! In the eighties and nineties seeing a bear was a very rare event in my area now it has become common for me. Oh and the bears can eat too! Changing times for sure first turkeys making a come back, now some bears, and even an odd siting of a wolf or two................. | |
