nc nebraska butte | Set on the county board here a couple years ago one member made a motion to prohibit the pipeline from crossing the county.The motion failed in vote I voted against it.Why did I vote against it.
Thought the county had no power in stopping it.
Thought a pipeline is the safest way of transporting.
Thought it was best to get crude from the northern neighbor then Mideast.
Thought that I do use oil ,not knieve enough to think it just appears in the tank.It comes from many miles away and many farmers and people years ago let pipelines through to benefit the nation as it is.
I was confronted by a man that still was drunk from night before at8:30 in the morning. Telling me how stupid I would be if I voted for it ,following and yelling at me while I walked across the street. Not even from my district.Best way not to vote his way.
