We are nearing the end of corn harvest.. might even finish today..??

I was struck by just how strong the cash market is.. as there is already a $4.50 bid (Tyson) along with several Coops out west at or near $4.00..  There's even a bid EAST of me that is higher than local bids which is UNUSUAL... (Hutch..)

The other hot spot on DTN's basis map is the Indiana/Ohio state line...

A lot of opinions out there that the WASDE's 1,592 15/16 carry out gets snugged up even more to 1.2'ish byn before long....??? 

Couple this with the dive in South American Corn acres next year... due to currency issues.. Cost of imported Nitrogen going through the roof.. things might get interesting.
