Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I don't think any of the responses sounded like they planned or needed the payments to keep going but it's the hand we're dealt so it is what we have to play with. If your neighbors are playing the game you probably need to be in it too to keep the playing field somewhat level. Other wise you you may be at a disadvantage.
Also, put the money in a farmers hand a he will find a place to spend it. I'd rather see federal tax dollars coming to rural America and being spent than that money be wasted some where else. Yea..I'm all for cutting a lot of spending in government. Needs to be cut everywhere. Ag doesn't have to bear the brunt of cuts if it ever happens. Needs to be fair and across the board. |
