| Looks like a Hereford cross ;) - we use homo black and homo polled on our spotted horn cows ( mixed breed lots of corriente I'm sure ). Have a friend with a ranch stocked with full blood and half blood corrientes - bred to homo black homo polled - jet black calves and 2-3 percent with horns - he's got $300 cows raising $1000 calves - I just can't go the full corriente route - they get out too much lol - but the Hereford cross cows throw nice black calves that grow - my Herefords are 800-900 lbs weaning a good 500-550 calf
