Western Illinois | Just finished corn yesterday. Mostly 111-114 day corn planted between April 11th - April 23rd. Started harvest on 9/11 @ 20%. Quickly dropped to 16% around the 16th. Ended up running between 11-14% the past week. No significant rain since mid August here. Yields were 20-30 bpa less than aph. Fairly satisfied with as much rain as we had this summer, but nothing to brag about. At least we had a crop to harvest.
Starting beans in the am. Heard anywhere from 30-low 60's. Again, with all the rain, will be satisfied with 50 bpa if we can get there. | |
