Middle Tennessee | Sat, FC Stone said this Friday, "Funds halved their small soybean futures short by buying 12,000 contracts today."
It's not true. Funds as of Tuesday were short about 50k net, their gross short position is 114k contracts. No declines of OI on any day subsequent to Tuesday. The funds have been pushing hard on the soybeans, and they've found some push back. Wed-Fri is putting pressure on those positions, its in the numbers. | |
