Subject: Yipper..

so basically what they are doing in Brazil..

.. the thing to keep in mind is the energy cost of coverting hydrous 95% ethanol to anhydrous ethanol is about 1/3 the total processing energy. So if you can use hydrous ethanol it makes ethanol that much more efficent and cost effective.

I do like UDub's duel fuel injection concept.. heck if we got to dump Urea in.. need a 2nd tank anyway.. Might as well be using ethanol... vs Urea...???

Why not?

Surely Deere would appreciate building a combine WITHOUT a 1200 degree "candle lighter" Exhaust emissions burning system (whatever they call it??).. right over the straw spreader..

The neighbor set his on fire the other day.. so far.. this fall.. only heard of 2 burning up.. but we got a ways to go yet...

That's just brilliant..  right up there with VW..

"Okay so we'll put the 1200 degree exhaust burning emissions compliance thingy.. right over the straw spreader.. anyone see any problems?  Good.. next topic.. bonus pay...afterall that will sell replacement machines..."

and EPA signed off on this..  did they include the emissions of the combine fire when they figured the total savings..???  How about if the field goes up in smoke also?  160 acres x 12 tons of stover x carbon per ton = something you can see from a satellite in space... plus if the wind is right.. might get the section next to it...

"what a country.."
