Mostly they just despise people who have generate wealth by farming.
I don't think that is true at all in my area. The ones that have generate wealth are the guys that have been farming for a long time and bought land for many years and now have a lower cop. The ones that are driving the rent and cost's up around me are about 5 BTO's that come in and raised the rent by about $150.00 an acre. They have a much higher cop and will be the first ones out. There is already one that is gone this year already and we hear plenty of rumors about a couple more of them. I think the ones that truly generated the wealth will be just fine with a down turn and they know that and are not jealous about it. |
