NW Illinois | If there is some age on the wagon, there might be some wear on the T pipe that the two springs slide on. I took mine off and welded any worn spots and then ground off the excess weld. Kind of hard to explain but improved my wagon's hitch a lot. Most of my welding was on the solid pipe that shows on both sides of the hitch, not on the hollow pipes that the springs slide on. Look for any wear, build it up with welder, grind it smooth, and that should help. Make sure both springs are not broken. | |
