My understanding is that China is not buying any more US debt.  It is unloading some also.  It knows that it can't dump it all at once.  They do not want to hurt/kill the US, we are prob. their biggest consumer.  They are buying gold and it is ending up in the peoples hands.  Their people also know what and unsetteled econ. is as their stock market is crazy and crashing.  China exports zero gold.  All they mine they keep.
