C IL | My in laws have had a series of golden's.
Agree on smart and friendly. Good play dogs for kids. Not great guard dogs.
Very high energy - need to be trained right/taught boundaries to keep them from being spoiled/crazy. Also need a lot of attention. And grooming to keep them clean.
Me, I'm more lab or German shepherd people - dog isn't jumping up in my lap, but quietly laying down next to me. | |
