Well below the $3.70 minimum to receive max ARC payment.
The MYA price is the 12 month national average price for a commodity, based on the average market(cash)price received at the first point of sale by farmers across the whole US.
This data is collected by NASS on a monthly basis.
The projected price is $3.72 to the last report I seen on MYA. The $3.70 price really isn't a major factor in ARC. Yes its a plug yield for any year below $3.70 but it has nothing to do with Max ARC payment. The price could be $8 dollars and the county yield for corn could be 10 and still get max payment. The price could be 2.50 and the yield could be %200 percent of the county avg and not get a payment at all. |
