Life's but a walking shadow | How much corn is loaded on the Ohio river and sent south or sent by rail to the south east in a normal year that simply won't be available this year? The only logical place for that corn to come from is Iowa & Minnesota this year. Typically a good deal of corn moves from the eastern corn belt further east and southeast. It will be interesting to see how the basis in Iowa reacts this year. |
