At $5.50 for rice, I grow more rice next year. Not because I like it better than corn but because my ground is better suited for rice; low, flat heavy ground. I pp 25% of my beans this year and another 20% were severely damaged by rains in June. The beans that survived look great now. If corn is $4.15 next spring and rice is $5.50, I would plant corn IF I had good corn ground. That is the problem in my area.
