Starbuck Manitoba Canada | In 1993 excessive rains in the Midwest kick the crap out of the crop. All summer the USDA said that the crop was just fine (slightly reduced).
Then came the November production report that took yields down about 20%, and a rally ensued. I am not saying we will see such a report anytime soon but it would not surprise me to see a 5% — 7% reduction in corn, not sure about beans.
