Dawn, Missouri | I think that 1.6 million acres for prevent plant in Missouri was for beans and corn? I attended the Livingston County Farm Bureau annual meeting last Thursday and the Missouri Director of Agriculture was the speaker. He said 1.6 million acres of prevented planting, but I thought he said for corn and soybeans. either way, that is alot of acres. I know southern IL had lots of prevented planting also. I think the smart money is accumulating soybeans and calls.
We have a double bottom on Nov. soybeans in the $8.50 area now IF that holds. Should rally through harvest and hopefully a BIG rally. Don't give away your soybeans. We had a student from Brazil stay with us that we keep in touch with. Said is has been a hot, dry winter for them. | |
