CRP acres under the new farm bill are set to decrease from something like 32 million to 26 million. Seems like a lot of ground around here is going in to, but there must be more converted from CRP to crops to make the required acreage decreases.
I would be interested in what source you have for that. There are alot of programs available now a days. Filter strips, heli, pheasant recovery, wetlands, the list goes on and on. All these have unlimited allocation the way i understand it and i wonder if they are categorized under CRP? I doubt it myself. I know "here" people will be surprised the amount of land taken out of production for next year. |
