This Sunday at sundown is the Feast of the Trumpets (Leviticus 23:24-25)  It is a new moon and concludes the last day of the Month of Elul (29) on the Hebrew lunar based calender.  From Sunday at sundown until Monday at sundown is Tishri 1  and the next year begins on the Hebrew calender.

The significance is that on this day debts and accounts are wiped clean every seventh year. (Deuteronomy 15:1-11)
Seven years ago this Feast of the Lord and new moon landed on Sept 29, 2008 the only day the bell did not ring on Wall Street and the Dow fell 777 points.  Seven years earlier this Feast of the Lord and new moon was September 17, 2001,  The largest one day point drop in Stock market history until then.   With the Fed backstopping the markets this time and with new market rules in place, any clearing of accounts may take on a different form than stocks.

Tomorrow is the last day of business before this event occurs.

I just checked my accounts and I still have debt. It is not sundown yet so hopefully it will happen yet.

Let him who has ears hear. Mark 4:22-23
Genisis 1:14-15
