Near-north Ontario, French River | We have a couple of hot shots in our area paying 250-300 for 35-40bu bean ground and 140-160 corn ground, no one can figure out how they are doing it either. All newer equipment, probably leased, but they just keep getting bigger. Everyone says this will be their last year.., everyone's been saying that for the last five years though .. I can see the numbers working a $6-7 corn but not sub$4 going to be a lot of 25-30bu beans, and 120bu corn around this year...very wet spring,,first time I've ever heard of that ground went unplanted due to weather. |
