Our vines normally don't get as big as they do back east. Those in the picture are unusual small due to being in an extreme sugar sand spot and it was pretty close to the center of the pivot.
These are Flavor runner 458's. If you are able to water a lot they do get pretty rank. A very dry and hot may and June kept these from getting rank.
