The way I see it most guys are trying to do this backwards because they think they look important farming 3000 ac with new paint. IMO guys would be better off selling the high priced paint and buying 300-600 ac and farming with 100K dollars in equipment. They might not impress the people in town, but I bet their financial statements would impress the high flyers paying 350 in rent.
If I sold off all my equipment and bought 100000 worth back, then bought 600 acres I would be several million short and the banker would probably want to shoot me. |
