Clarke county, IA | "Here" the majority of CRP ground would make good hay/pasture. Yes it would probably end up cropped at first but after prices get lower it would get fences and cows put on it. Cows look a lot better on this ground because on a normal year it will probably raise 100-115bu corn on a dry year the yield would 0. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what would cash flow better. | |
