FWIW the livestock guys that also cash crop prefer grains to be a decent price as "growing your own" can be a competitive advantage and you can never buy corn for stated elevator price as they will want $10+ mt. for elevation,ect. ....... $15+ beans and $8+ corn drove lots of guys out of livestock but if corn had of stayed at COP us independent guys would probably ben wiped oput by integrators .......worse than $8 corn was grain farmers telling livestock guys screw you as we got ethanol now and don't need you , some pretty big egos will get adjusted.........ourselves,our goal is too raise all our feed........now if you want to get a good return that legal grow op up at Tweed says on $1.7 mil. in sales they made $1 mil. profit, Maizing probaly knows the place as we have some start ups here too........and lots of Asian basement operations not licensed
