north central iowa | We have tillable land going into CRP around here. Ground that's been farmed for years. Or maybe its some other program but its 10 years. Hearing anything from $310-$370/acre...plus a $100/acre sign up bonus. Plus a cost share to put it in...got a call from a landlord last week that's doing this. Asked at the FSA office and they basically said any land qualifies..just different levels. | |
