Thumb of Michigan | Wow, Dave- thats kind of out of line. But, I don't know DeereMan85, and it sounds like you do.
Not sure how you can make the leap from owning mutual funds to owning boats and cars and quads and new vehicles. Myself, I think I understand the difference between an asset and a liability. I'm guessing DeereMan85 does as well, but thats only a guess.
But then again, I think if you were to poll most people, they'd say things like their house is an asset. Which obviously it isn't, but whatever lets you sleep at night.
I've had debt, I've been 100% debt free, and I've taken on debt again. Made sense then and still does. So far, so good, what DeereMan85 is doing works for those willing to spend the time to make it work. Done the same sort of things myself.
