698.45 guarantee divided by tonight's price of 3.67 = 190.31 bushels. looks right to me. this math will affect the harvest pace, like it or not. Crop insurance has been painted into an expensive corner by this price reduction.
I don't think there is very much 200 APH ground in the whole country. Would be interesting to know though. I suppose someone could come up with the data. |
