Subject: RE: Corn piles?

Northwest IOWA
Green Plains Ethanol at Lakota IA and the GreenPlains east of Spirit Lake -at Superior IA have just piled up a bunker of old crop, I think each location is adding additional piles this Fall as well ...I would imagine the old crop that has aged a year and been moved may keep better than a kernel that just went thru a combine, grain cart , drying system burners, and loaded back on a truck to an outside pile. Also heard of a few last minute bin pads getting formed up in this area ...Looking forward to cooler temps to pour a couple in the area this week , Have a good one !
