nc ks | I agree with the macdon header route. Might cost a little more than the upgrade to a 2388, but I think productivity would jump more than switching combines. The 23 will have more power. The 21 will have a more durable rotor gearbox and a better air cleaner system. We had a 2188 w/o field tracker that was down to needing a lot of work and we weren't even using it in beans one year but the beans were really turning out so we got a used 30ft D50 to run on it and it made that old combine seem like a sweet machine. We still have a 2388 and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon so they are good combines too. The hyd head reverser is a nice improvement.
