Central Minnesota | Local rail shuttle here is paying 3.13 by nov.... Which is -.50 basis... They are paying 3.43 with a -.44 under basis for june/july... That's .30 cents carry right now today. Usually you can get a -.28 to -.32 basis for june/july sometime over the next few months. So that initial .30 cents, plus the possibility of basis which could be anywhere from 0-.16 cents has me thinking about putting up another bin quick. Not to mention if you can capture any sort of a rally in the market over the next few months. Even another 20-30 cents pays half the cost of the bin in one year.
But maybe i'm looking at it all wrong. | |
