SC Iowa | I think I am starting to listen to you more Sat. These feeder cattle are way way too high. Sharpen your pencil with a diamond to make that s*** work.
On feeder futures.. Looking at the charts September appears to be at support right now. But January blasted through with a big old gap that was filled shortly thereafter and then we down from there.
I am wanting to load up on 4 weights but they need to come down more first. These calves just got too high.. Cow man has had a great 5 years... 10 really.
This will be first year I 100% make my own feed. Silage, ground hay, earlage. Bought gluten for years but they have finally got all the kick out of it. Might as well buy a load of wood chips, soak the with water and put it on the slab, modern gluten in hollow.
