Not quite the same, but a stupid decision by me.... In the very early 2000's one of my landlords wanted to sell. I wanted to keep farming it, so I bought it and then (here's the stupid part) sold it to someone who would rent it to me. I thought I was too highly leveraged at the time. I suspect I coulda hung on to it and have bought property since (of course for higher) but should have just kept it. I'm a genius https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6f-2LExTvBw
