I actually suggested on here a couple years ago to consider selling an 80 and paying off remaining debt would be a good strategy. As it turns out, the timing would have been the very high. Farming debt free would be a good feeling going forward.(I remember I was pretty much considered a complete idiot by most)
Um if all the debt you had could have been paid off by selling an 80 then I'm pretty sure selling would have been the worst mistake ever
An operation is built over generations and very rarely does a piece of ground get sold twice in multiple generations.
Buying land never pencils but those than own it will still make money even in a downturn.
Selling at the high has nothing to do with it if your in the business to farm. |
Wonder how the "sell land and use that money to rent more ground" strategy is working out?
