... How are you going to compete with people who do not make their money farming but walks into it and buys ground 3 million here 5 million their at a drop of a hat like its nothing. Then others subsidize their operation by illegal means and the LL's don't care.



Just as, not all tenants took advantage during the asymptotic price increase, not all land lords are taking advantage now. I think that was your main point, but you spun off on the land lord being to blame, more than the tenant. That isn't necessarily the case.

Tough call on how to successfully compete in some situations, given the specific scenarios you mentioned. Personally, I guess I'd flat out refuse to play that game, which I did, earlier this year.
