there was push here about ten years back to move more farmers towards liquid(32-28%) just about every coop put in large tanks(500k-1mil.) with rail and truck loadins/outs.      so there was a fair amount of farmers that transitioned to all liquid programs in that timeframe, most have moved back to nh3 or at the very minimum a half fall nh3/half sidedress 32%, although more and more of the sidedress is moving towards nh3 again.

so I guess the nh3 vs liquid use ratio in my mind is being driven by the farmers more than the suppliers, the advantages from the suppliers point of view, more margin on liquid here, anybody can fill a 28%tender, and most anybody can run a liquid applicator, so with just these factors in mind liquid should be favored, would you not agree?

so there must be something, here anyway, that's causing this.    wonder what that could be?
