Virginia
Iron Archer - i personally do not have any experience with spreading the ash yet. A few guys i have talked to gave me a general rule of thumb that 3 tons of wood ash is equivalent to 2 tons of lime. I have plans to get a truckload of it for a test run here in the next week or so. My only problem is that I only have a lime buggy. I have been told from one person that some of it comes in chunks and can be hard to spread that way. But, for the price its definitly worth trying if its a suitable replacement for lime.
