I would assume his calves are safe. Just guessing, but being a dairy farm they would calve inside and then be housed inside. Also from what I see around here, they are almost a scavenger. They will eat at a carcass for days, usually a car killed deer. If they won't eat fawns, I wouldn't worry about a calf...at least in my area. We have a huge deer problem. I wish the Eagles would attack the big brown rats called deer and thin the herd some.
