+1, but unless you lived it, it is very hard to accurately describe what it was like-----I have and continue to try to describe to my kids and they have a hard time getting it. We bought 3 quarters of land at the high, but really that was our only spending. We had junk machinery and lived on nothing, there was just no positive cash flow on anything to service any debt and live. Had cows, pigs and ran almost all the grain through them and got a farm payment on grain production. 19 percent interest seems almost like an impossibility today. We are not even on the same planet as the 80's yet.
