Same here.

We have not started picking yet, but nephew picked a couple of early maturity fields and yields were excellent for this area. We have some corn planted on time and about half the crop planted WAY late. I said earlier in the year that if we get that one in ten year with a cool wet summer, our late corn could be as good as the early (but the odds were definitely against it). Well we have had very moderate temperatures and an inch or more of rain about every week. So the late corn looks, for the most part, as good as the early. There will be exceptions for sure. But for the most part, I think we are looking at a very good harvest. Probably not as good as last year (an all time record - filled old bins that had not seen grain for years), but still should be a well above average crop.
