Much worse than 2008. I believe the markets are becoming immune to the stimulus. Wall street is front running this whole deal because they now realize that the Fed is much slower out of the blocks with more stimulus than before. You are right that China is the scapegoat and don't deserve to be. Their stock market is simply sliding down the other side of the parabolic curve. China will continue to manufacture like never before and happily continue to make our Iphones. Only seven percent of Chinese citizens own any stock so this is not affecting their serfs.

It is North America, Japan, and Europe that have caused worldwide markets to tank. Too much government debt that cannot be repaid. A simple enough concept that almost nobody understands or takes seriously including our politicians. Debt expansion will not solve the problem. The markets may or may not have figured this out yet. The only way to find out is to launch QE4 and see how long it props markets up again. I would love to be a fly on the wall at the Fed right now! Should we inflate this bubble one more time? Or should we put the ball in the court of the people, the politicians, and free markets?
