well of course some are trading their positions but those positions are directly related to what they believe the crop is so it is kind of a never ending circle.

Also one would have to know their land cost structure because that is more important than their market position for many.

add to that their equipment cost structure.

The market is sitting with a lot of structure in it at this point and it will take a whole lot more than a couple 4 or 5 guys posting what ever they can dream up to change its mind.

For the record by the time yields are talked about on this site the market has traded them for at least 6 hours.

So today the market already has traded the disappointing yields that some are touting from Illinois and the corn market dropped about a nickel so my guess is that the market is not nearly as disappointed with the yields as some here would like you to believe.


Keep in mind that the great majority of the posters on this site are farmers ( 95% ) and most of them (95%) want higher prices because no matter what most still have bushels to sell in their lifetime.
