Thr real deal is that people overestimate how big of an area is effected by any event any year. If you drove 10hrs per day at 65 mph for 7 days and you could see a half mile either direction and all the land was corn and/or beans (no cities, pastures, creeks, etc), you could see about 1.5% of the nation's corn and bean crops.
