Even if your numbers are close,( the last numbers I saw was only a net savings of less than a $1000, a year in gasoline based off the average miles driven per year and the avg. fuel economy).

The average american has a credit card debt of $7400 and rises to an average of 15,863, i would suggest with any savings they pay down debt.
