Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
The global economy is giant interconnected machine that will keep more or less cranking along even if the Shanghai or Wall Street takes a dip. The Chinese government is just like any other modern government, maybe a lot more heavy handed but basically just trying to more or less keep things going. The Chinese people want what everybody else wants, decent food, decent housing, jobs, education for their children, a chance to lead a little better life, etc.
You need to have a little faith in the resilience of the basic economy, that the simple demand for goods and services may slow but will eventually come back, maybe everything as strong as the past couple of years but come back nonetheless.
Sure there's the chance that somebody someplace will screw up so badly as to make a serious mess of things but let's hope not.
Is it going to be easy for the next few months or years, probably not but we've all lived through other crisis.
And anyways, what are the banks going to do, bankrupt everybody just because we're not making the money we did a couple of years ago.
I'm going to go to bed and get a good night's sleep and worry about it in the morning, Good night.
