Subject: RE: cattle market

my thoughts have always been if you try and play the markets they will run you over, always be buying and selling. that way if your selling into a down market you are also buying right back into it helping out the next turn, you can buy options on these cattle to help the downside. if you dont like the market actions only buy 20 or 30 head instead of 100 or 300 head a pop. or buy some small ones(400 lbs) and buy some heavy ones(700) and spread your risk out timewise. there have been some 600 lb cattle selling at the barns for pretty cheap money the last two weeks and will probobly only go down from here out. im not really sure anyone knows what will happen but only thing that is guaranteed that you do know is how much you make sitting idle.
