if I am in your part of the world and need to buy corn for your feeding operation----when you can buy it for $3.25, that would seem to be worth the risk/reward even if it would get cheaper.......

If you have significant cash rent obligations in fall of '16.....given the current global circumstances, having some corn hedged at $4 or higher in the December 16 contract seems prudent to cover some of those obligations

take care out there in the western part of Iowa
