At some point producers will stop selling (if they haven't already) and at that point the price no longer matters.


It would be nice with the future price collapse to at least see some improvement in the basis, but its gone nowhere around me, so it hardly even makes any sense for a basis contract around me. So I am not even motivated to sell physical and own paper at this point.
At least I can store 100% of my soybeans at home, might end up finding how long they will store in grain bags, usually they are long gone by spring.
