The custom harvest crew for the local veggy processor have a sweet shop truck, I believe its a Freightliner FL70class truck, that they pull behind their dump cart when moving from field to field. Fully outfitted shop truck, not much they can't fix in the field, probably close to 30k pounds when loaded with fuel. Been pulling their shop trucks around southern Ontario for years and never had any problems. They do leave it running when towing, I assume to lube the tranny and keep batteries up. Having seen their set up I wouldn't blink twice pulling a 3/4 or 1 ton around, as long as you have a good strong hitch, and safety chains.
