I was curious as to what you think Kansas will make, above or below the USDA's 152. In principle I agree that we should have a grain reserve but the economics (at least here) just doesn't permit that. Personally I am not in favor of any reserve because of the way the market uses any kind of reserve or carryout against the producers.
I think it's enough for government just to provide crop insurance and let the market take the risk of undersupply. After all that's what the futures market is suppose to be for, correct?
