| As an observer from outside the 2 states it has always been my opinion that if Iowa had it's best possible growing season and Illinois had it's best possible growing season, Illinois has a much higher upside than Iowa. Illinois is just blessed with a better location.....South and East. When IL had its troubles and the "IA is going to be this years IL of '14" thesis came out I was skeptical. Iowa is a corn growing machine but I am of the belief that it just doesn't have the upside (as a whole) that IL does. | |
